Agile Olympiad is an initiative of India Agile Week (IAW2014) and UNICOM to run India's most prestigious Corporate Quiz on Agile Methodology.

Agile Olympiad Is Powered by:

Game Plan:

  • Qualifier Round 1: Online on June 11, 2014 - Duration 30 Mins [Time: 05:00 - 05:30 PM]FREE
    • Link to take the quiz would be sent to nominees via email 5 days before the quiz
    • Quiz can be taken from anywhere – office / home / browsing centres, etc.
    • This round will be for 30 minutes. You will have to answer 40 Multiple Choice Questions
    • Questions have been designed to be generic covering all areas of Agile Methodologies.
    • Based on performance selected teams will qualify for Round 2.
    • Selected Candidates will be informed via Email.
  • Semi-Finals in Bangalore (20 June) [Time: 08:00 - 08:30 AM]at the Conference Venue PAY
    • Format – Pen and Paper based quiz.
    • This round will be for 30 minutes. You will have to answer 20 Multiple Choice Questions and 2 Situational and Subjective Questions
    • Top 4 teams will go to finals.
    • Certificates will be provided to all semi-finalists
  • Finals with 4 Teams on 20th June, 2014 (Time: 04:45 - 05:45 PM) at the Bangalore conference venue
    • Format – Oral quiz to be held on stage
    • Quiz will have Audio and Video Rounds with Live scoring. Contest Format will be explained at the beginning.
    • Result will be announced at the Venue by 6 PM. Winners and RunnersUp Teams will be given Prizes by our Chief Guest.
What's the Best Agile Olympiad Team taking home?
  • Winning Team - Smart Phone and Gold Certificate to both players in the team
  • First Runner Up Team - Silver Certificate to both players in the team
  • Second Runner Up Team - Bronze Certificate to both players in the team
  • Winners shall be facilitated with the awards on the same day of conference (i.e. 20th June, 2014) at the venue.
Who is eligible for Agile Olympiad?
  • Anyone who is professionally involved in Software Development & Testing (at all roles) is eligible
  • Student/Fresher is not eligible
Is there any participation fee?
There is no participation fee to take Round 1. However those who get selected for Semi-finals will need to pay Rs 12,000 / team as participation fee. This fee includes –
  • Attendance @ SemiFinals and @ Finals (selected teams) and India Agike Week conference in Bangalore on 20th June 2014.
How to Enrol for Agile Olympiad?
  • Corporate Nomination:
    • A Team* of two needs to enrol together by sending an email to contact@unicomlearning.com with following details of each participant:

    • *More than one team can be nominated by a company
  • Non-Corporate Nomination:
    • If your company is not nominating you and your friend, then you can still nominate your team

  1. I am managing Development/Testing team. Am I eligible?
    • Yes, This contest is open to all corporate citizens who have passion for Agile Development & Testing.
  2. I am a free-lance consultant in software development/testing. Am I eligible?
    • Yes, This contest is open to all experience professionals (working or freelancing) who have passion for Agile development.
  3. I am interested but do not have a partner. Can I still participate?
    • No, This contest needs to be registered in a group of two. Single nomination is not acceptable. So kindly find a suitable partner and register.
  4. I do not have a partner. Can I participate?
    • No, This contest needs to be registered in a group of two. Single nomination is not acceptable. So kindly find a suitable partner and register.
  5. I am not in software domain. Can I participate?
    • Yes, you can try your luck. :-)

    • No, This contest is not for students.
